Early Launch for talkSPORT Betting Site

talkSPORT has been a successful radio station for many years. Now they are launching talkSport Bet (talksportbet.com) and it’s been launched a couple of months early. Just in time for the 2022 World Cup of course.

The new betting brand has been developed in partnership with BetVictor. It will utilise the media coverage of the radio station while also being part of BetVictor’s B2B White Label portfolio.

It was in early August of this year that the partnership between the radio station and the betting company was announced

The Betting and Gaming Director for talkSPORT is Gareth Williams. Speaking about the upcoming launch he said: ““talkSPORT is the world’s biggest sports radio network with a loyal community of listeners.

“This partnership adds to talkSPORT’s growing digital footprint and talkSPORT BET will access our digital audiences through creative online activations, such as odds integrations and betting widgets.”

Their customers will be able to link up betting on the World Cup and listen to the extensive radio coverage talkSport will provide to their listeners.

The new betting brand will include familiar features such as in-play betting, bet boosts, bet builder and enhanced accumulators. The bet builder will have “progressive pricing.” The sportsbook will also have a generous welcome offer.

There will also be a social responsibility element to the betting site. This will incorporate the policies delivered by BetVictor. The aim will be to make the sportsbook both entertaining and informed but also to help customers bet responsibly.

It’s probably uncommon for launches to take place ahead of time. However, with the World Cup starting in Qatar on November 20. Missing out on such a massive betting event as that wasn’t something the new sportsbook wanted to see happen.

This is similar to the situation in the US. States making sports betting legal have been keen to launch in time for the new NFL season or the Super Bowl.

The BetVictor Group Chief Commercial Officer, Brent Almeida, said that they are “thrilled to be partnering with the UK’s leading sports radio network and global audio rights holders of the Premier League.”

In the past, talkSPORT have partnered with Beway and regularly give the latest odds for matches during sporting commentaries. Their site also has a betting page giving tips and news of promotions from companies such as Paddy Power, 888 and bet365. Now they are taking their links with the betting industry a few steps forward just at the right time to do so.
